What does membership entail?

Members receive a Members Only Price on test strips.

10% Discount on all supplies purchased.
(Note this discount does not apply to test strips or any other promotions that may be on offer.)

Quarterly (Every 3 Months) Education Sessions.

Annually- 1 Free Eye Checkup and Diabetic Footcare Assessment

Membership card valid for discounts and promotions at participating Doctors, Laboratories and Pharmacies.

One of the aims of the Belize Diabetes Association is to provide monitors, strips, lancets among other diabetes supplies at an economical cost to persons living with diabetes. To that end we offer membership as part of a Glucose Monitor Package.
Purchase of our Basic /or Econo Package and the completion of a membership form qualifies you as a member of the Association.

With this one time purchase, you become a member and are given first priority to events conducted by the branch.

A brief tutorial for setup and use of the monitor is conducted upon purchase of package.
Who can join?

Membership is open to any person resident in Belize living with Diabetes.

Membership dues are $20 annually or $2 monthly.

Members on monthly payments are allowed a grace period of 3 late consecutive payments before membership becomes inactive.

Members who pay dues on an annual basis have a grace period of 3 months after membership expires to renew membership before it becomes inactive.

Members whose membership becomes inactive are not eligible to receive membership benefits.
